SmartCredit and CRS are different companies.
Understand the membership requirement, separate billing, possible CRS compensation, and cancellation responsibilities before you enroll.
Why is SmartCredit required?
An active paid SmartCredit membership is required during the CRS process so current credit information and changes can be reviewed. SmartCredit provides the membership tools; CRS provides the separate services described in your CRS agreement.
Who bills me?
SmartCredit bills you directly under the price, billing frequency, renewal, and terms displayed when you enroll. Its membership charge is separate from and not included in the flat $499 CRS service fee. CRS does not control SmartCredit’s current price.
When may SmartCredit billing begin?
SmartCredit charges may begin under its own terms before CRS completes its services or may continue while CRS applies its payment-timing policy. Delaying the CRS fee does not delay or waive SmartCredit’s separate charges.
Does CRS receive compensation?
CRS may receive compensation when you enroll in or maintain a SmartCredit membership through our relationship. Review SmartCredit’s current price and terms before enrolling.
How does cancellation work?
CRS and SmartCredit have separate agreements, billing, privacy, and cancellation processes. Canceling one may not automatically cancel the other. If SmartCredit becomes inactive, CRS may be unable to continue because the required current information is no longer available.
What is not guaranteed?
Monitoring, alerts, simulations, or other SmartCredit tools do not guarantee a deletion, score change, fraud prevention result, approval, financing, or any CRS result. Features may depend on the current plan, activation, availability, eligibility, and provider terms.
