Before you hire CRS

How much does CRS cost?

CRS enrollment is $0. Each fully completed, documented, and legally billable Service Cycle is $49.99. The maximum is six paid cycles, or $299.94 in total CRS service fees. Unused cycles are not billed.

How long does credit repair take?

There is no fixed timeline. Timing depends on the information in your reports, the facts and documents available, responses from credit bureaus or furnishers, and your ongoing credit habits. Results vary, and CRS does not promise a result by a particular date.

Can I dispute inaccurate information myself?

Yes. Consumers may dispute inaccurate information directly with credit bureaus and furnishers at no cost. CRS is an optional service for people who want help reviewing information, organizing documents, understanding the process, and tracking completed work.

Does checking my own credit reports lower my score?

No. Requesting or reviewing your own credit reports is a soft inquiry and does not lower your credit score. A hard inquiry may affect a score when a lender checks your credit after an application.

What is the difference between credit monitoring and credit repair?

Credit monitoring sends alerts or shows changes in your reports. Credit repair focuses on reviewing report information, questioning possible inaccuracies, organizing facts and documents, and building healthier credit habits. Monitoring is a separate third-party service and does not repair credit by itself.

Does CRS offer support in Spanish?

Yes. CRS provides English and Spanish support. The website includes Spanish explanations of pricing, the process, common credit terms, consumer information, and online enrollment.

Pricing and Service Cycles

Is this a monthly subscription or pay per deletion?

No. A Service Cycle is not a monthly subscription, and CRS does not charge per deletion. Time passing alone does not create a CRS fee.

What is included in a Service Cycle?

The exact tasks depend on your file and agreement. A cycle may include report review, review of facts and documents you confirm, credit education, appropriate communications, and documentation of completed activity.

When is a Service Cycle complete?

A cycle is complete only after all defined work for that cycle has been performed and recorded in the client file. CRS provides an account update or invoice identifying the completed cycle.

Does every client need six cycles?

No. Six is the maximum number of paid cycles, not a required package. CRS reassesses the file after each completed cycle. Unused cycles are not billed.

What happens if no further appropriate work is available?

No additional cycle is performed or billed. CRS does not charge simply because time passed or because fewer than six cycles were used.

Credit terms and realistic expectations

What is credit utilization?

Credit utilization is how much of a credit-card limit is being used. For example, a $500 balance on a $1,000 limit is 50% utilization. No single percentage guarantees a particular score.

What are collections and charge-offs?

A collection is a past-due debt being handled by a collection company. A charge-off is an account a lender recorded as a loss. A charge-off does not necessarily mean the debt disappeared.

What are credit bureaus and furnishers?

Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion are credit bureaus that maintain consumer files. A furnisher is a lender, collector, or other company that sends account information to them.

What is the CFPB?

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is a federal agency that publishes consumer information and accepts complaints about financial products and services.

Can CRS guarantee deletions or a score increase?

No. Results vary. CRS does not guarantee deletions, score increases, approvals, financing, or results by a particular date. Accurate and current information cannot be removed merely because it is unfavorable.

Does CRS use AI?

CRS may use AI and software to help organize data, compare reports, draft appropriate communications, and support education. You confirm the facts, and no automated tool guarantees a result.

Does CRS serve El Paso and other Texas cities?

Yes. CRS is based in El Paso and provides bilingual, online-first consumer credit-improvement services throughout Texas. CRS does not claim offices outside El Paso.
